EverPresent has many ways to share your old media after it is converted through digital. One way is through a private digital link! This means you get your own password protected webpage that only you can see, containing all of your newly digitized and organized photos and videos. You can download the photos and videos from the website, and share the link and password with friends and family so that they can also access and download the family memories.

This segment is meant to help walk you through the downloading process, so you can take your images off the web, and save them on your own electronic devices:

To download your photos:

    • 1) To access your digitized photos, go to your personalized My Archive site, provided to you by EverPresent. (For example http://archive.everpresentonline.com/lastname56789).
    • 2) Enter your private password when prompted. Both the private URL and the password are listed on the one page insert included with every order.
    • 3) Click on the folder that says “Photo”. This will open a screen with all of the folders containing your images.
    • 4) Double-click the folder you would like to download from. This will open up to the first image, with thumbnails of the other images in the folder off to the side. In some cases, there are folders nested within folders. Continue to click in until you get to a single photo.
    • 5) Hover the cursor over the top left hand corner of the main image being viewed, which will expose a small drop-down menu.
    • 6) Place the cursor over the ‘DOWNLOAD” icon and choose “original” to download that particular image only, or you may choose “All available originals” to download the entire folder.

  • 7) Find the “Recent Downloads” box on your PC (Found by hitting the “Start” Windows icon>click “computer” box>look for “downloads” folder) and drag/move to the appropriate desktop folder.
  • 8) Open the new folder and enjoy your downloaded photos!
  • 9) To download your entire archive, repeat the process for all of the folders.

To Download your Videos:

    • 1) To access your digitized videos, go to your personalized box.com account provided to you by EverPresent (For example: http://everpresent.app.box.com/lastname56789)
    • 2) Enter your private password when prompted. Both the private URL and the password are listed on the one page insert included with every order.
    • 3) Click on the folder with the appropriate videos. In some cases, there will be no folders. If so, skip this step.

  • 4) To download the entire folder, click the “Download” icon on the top of the screen, just above the first listed video file. Click on it and confirm the action when prompted. If you want to download a particular video, place the cursor over it, and another “Download” icon will appear to the right. Click on it and it will start to download immediately.
  • 5) Find the “Recent Downloads” box on your PC (Found by hitting the “Start” Windows icon>click “computer” box>look for “downloads” folder) or Mac (by finding the “Downloads” folder on your Dock) and drag/move to the appropriate desktop folder.
  • 6) Open the new folder and enjoy your downloaded movies! Keep in mind that the downloading phase varies greatly depending on the size of your files. A short film reel will take seconds, but a 40 tape archive will take hours. Don’t forget you can view them on the site as you wait for them to download.
