Introducing StoryBox

Digitizing meets storytelling with our all-in-one StoryBox service. Send us your film reels and photo books - and anything else worth preserving - in an elegant box that we provide. We’ll turn it all into digital copies, then set those photos and movies in a video documentary that you can watch and share.

Our favorite part about this service is the audio interview. First, we use your photos and videos to prepare questions for you or the chosen family storytellers. Then we record the answers as high-quality audio files, and use them to narrate the story you want to tell. Imagine watching old films of your grandparents while hearing Nana recall how they fell in love.

Helping You Get Organized

Our Digital Organizing service launched just after this Globe article came out. And it becomes more important every year - in that time, the average family adds another 3,600 photos to their collection without sorting them.

We’ll start by getting rid of unwanted and duplicate photos to make your photo archive smaller. Then the magic happens - we can sort your photos by date, use face-tagging to identify your friends and family, and even add keywords that make specific photos easy to search for. The end result is a library that stores thousands of pictures but takes only seconds to search for the ones you want to see.

Similar services rely on computer programs to cut corners and automate the organizing process. What sets us apart is our people. EverPresent’s personal organizers take time and care to look at each one of your photos before making any changes to your archive.

Local Photo Scanning and Video Transfers in the Northeast

What sets our service apart is not just what you can get - it’s where you can get it. We’ve partnered with dozens of local businesses to preserve family memories throughout New England and the Tri-State Area.

Maybe you live too far from our HQ, or don’t want to send these priceless items in the mail (we get it). Simply bring your pictures and home movies to any one of these art galleries or custom frame shops. We’ll pick them up, convert them to digital, and return the originals along with your new digital copies on hard drives or DVDs when your project is done.

There are too many reasons to put off preserving your memories: ‘I can’t find the time,’ ‘my photos won’t fit in the car,’ we’ve heard it all. EverPresent’s in-home consultations make the process as easy as possible. Your personal consultant can meet you at home, help you set goals for your project, and bring your photos and videos directly to our production office for digitizing. This service is ideal for large, multigenerational family legacy projects. When it’s all done, we’ll drop off your things right back at your home.

EverPresent Adds More Local Partnerships in the Northeast

EverPresent is proud to announce new relationships with 16 local businesses across the Northeast. These additions put us at more than 40 unique partner stores throughout New England and the Tri-State Area.

Local families can bring their aging media to the nearest store for unmatched convenience and customer service. We will promptly pick up, digitize and return these memories along with digital copies on DVDs or USB drives.

We’ve added three new stores in the Boston area and one on the North Shore. Stanhope Framers, a decades-old frame shop specializing in eco-friendly materials, runs our Back Bay and Cambridge locations. You’ll also find EverPresent Boston at Around the Corner Framing, a Tremont Street gem that offers museum-quality frames for your artwork.

A bit further north is our store in Manchester-by-the-Sea, led by Nor’east Frameworks owner Chuck. From framing to repairs and preservation, NE Frameworks is your one-stop shop for all things art on the North Shore.

New Hampshire

Vermont

Our new Vermont stores are the latest and most exciting additions - they mark our official presence in every New England state to serve local families!

Vermonters who aren’t near the Upper Valley still have two convenient local spots to bring their family photos and videos. Our Brattleboro drop-off is at Lotus Graphics, one of the few EverPresent partners that also offers high-quality printing and photocopy services.

Just an hour out from the Canadian border is EverPresent Northern VT in South Burlington. Vermont Frame Game boasts the biggest selection of custom frame moldings in the whole state. They’ll even turn your physical prints and artwork into laminated plaques for long-term preservation.

Connecticut

Another excellent partner joins our stores in Hartford, New London and Darien to help save Connecticut families’ history.

New Haven’s Da Silva Gallery is the new EverPresent Southern CT. The Gallery’s been supplying southern Connecticut with custom framing solutions and full-service art installations for years, and we’re beyond proud of this local partnership with them. Beyond our Capital District drop-off - and expanding our reach from Nyack and Westchester County - EverPresent is committed to serving the diverse communities in and around New York City.

We have three new Long Island locations. Long Island Picture Frame and Art Gallery conveniently offers two drop-off spots, one at Massapequa Park and another in Oyster Bay. Their name says it all. Also serving Long Island is The Blue Door Gallery in Riverhead, NY, where you’ll find local artwork on sale and many custom frame options.

EverPresent New Rochelle is our second and newest partner in Westchester County. Backstreet Gallery offers decades of expertise in framing, restoring, and printing artwork.

Claude of Astoria Art & Custom Framing brings traditional skills and decades of experience to EverPresent Queens. This partner is a choice resource for framing, molding, needlepoint and even furniture restoration.

New Jersey

After kicking off in New Jersey with stores in Bergen and Morris Counties, we loved the families here so much that we had to meet more. So we recently launched three locations in New Jersey’s Middlesex, Essex and Somerset Counties.

EverPresent Essex County is in Montclair at MSC Custom Picture Framing, whose experts focus on finding the best framing options to make artwork shine. Further south, B. Beamesderfer Gallery in Highland Park is our partner for EverPresent Middlesex County. Their valuable services range from high-quality framing to local art exhibits.

EverPresent working to preserve memories, fight digital clutter

Nov 19, 2014 – When Eric S. Niloff came across his 91-year-old grandfather’s collection of World War II-era photographs, he and his wife took it upon themselves to organize and preserve them for their family.

“It took literally over 100 hours. We said, ‘Why isn’t there a real company that will actually work with families to secure their history?’” Niloff said in a recent interview.

And that’s how they got the idea for their business, EverPresent.

First Providence consultant hired at start-up EverPresent

Daniella Giorgio has been chosen to be the first consultant to serve Providence by EverPresent - a start-up organization that helps local families preserve and organize their photo and video collections digitally.
Giorgio is a longtime resident of West Warwick and previously served as a “Director of Fun”, Event Coordinator, and Assistant Brand Manager at the Hyatt Regency in Newport where she organized community fundraisers.

Brookline couple's business digitally archives clients' memories

It was like a high-tech "Gift of the Magi." A few days before last Christmas, a couple came into EverPresent’s Newton office separately to create a Christmas present for each other. The husband was giving his wife a slideshow about her 40th birthday, and she was giving him a digitized version of a scrapbook he created for his family. They wanted to surprise each other on Christmas Eve.

To pick up the gift, they would come in a day or two before Christmas, and Jennifer Niloff, co-founder of the company, had to time it so they wouldn’t be in at the same time. It became a Christmas secret mission. Just one glitch: The man and woman each came in with their 9-year-old son.

Photo digitizing startup EverPresent lands new funding

Oct 10, 2014 -Photo- and video-digitizing startup EverPresent, based in Newton, announced this week it has raised $600,000 in angel funding, bringing total funding to date for the company to $1.2 million.

Angel investors who have contributed to the startup's total funding include former Facebook executive Chris Kelly, former Reebok CEO Frank O'Connell, The Princeton Review and Bessemer Venture Capital partner Chris Gabrieli.

EverPresent moves into town

Of roughly 46 employees, nearly 30 are stationed at the new Watertown production center located at 200 Dexter Ave., he said. The expansion to Watertown represents continued growth for EverPresent, and they continue to hire new employees every month, according to a press release for the company.

The EverPresent staff is divided into two teams: the clients who work directly with families in homes across New England, getting to know them and hearing their family stories, are stationed at the home office in Newton.

Telling Family Stories
