>MANCHESTER — EverPresent, which offers a service to digitize and organize photos and videos, has expanded its services to Manchester. In addition to offering in-home consultations throughout the area, EverPresent is now available at Framers Market, the Boston company’s third location in New Hampshire.
The inspiration for EverPresent, a Newton-based media digitizing, organizing, and sharing business, began in 2009 when Brookline resident Eric Niloff found a forgotten photo collection in his grandfather’s closet. Subsequent news coverage of teary victims holding photos from albums ruined in various natural disasters reinforced his sense of the widespread need to safely preserve family memories.
Local Start-Up Earns National Endorsement and Angel Investment EverPresent provides unique solutions helping families share history across generations
(February 10, 2014) NEWTON, MA—Local start-up EverPresent is changing the way families preserve and share their history, and the company is gaining serious momentum.
EverPresent digitizes all old media formats—from photos to scrapbooks to VHS tapes to 8mm films—and then works with families to assure memories are shared across generations. Options include digital archives searchable by people or topic and custom designed video presentations or memory books. EverPresent will also merge newly digitized family photos and videos with current content stored on smartphones and personal computers.
Family photos and videos should be a source of enjoyment, but too often are a source of stress. We worry about old albums and home movies getting damaged or lost over time. We feel overwhelmed by cluttered digital collections scattered across cameras, phones and computers. We think about what could go wrong, but rarely act, leaving us unable to share memories with loved ones, and pass on what matters most.
For many of us, dealing with our photos and videos has been on the to-do list, but options have been limited. Fortunately, families can now rely on professional companies for help with this undertaking.
Nov 19, 2014 – When Eric S. Niloff came across his 91-year-old grandfather’s collection of World War II-era photographs, he and his wife took it upon themselves to organize and preserve them for their family.
“It took literally over 100 hours. We said, ‘Why isn’t there a real company that will actually work with families to secure their history?’” Niloff said in a recent interview.
And that’s how they got the idea for their business, EverPresent.
Daniella Giorgio has been chosen to be the first consultant to serve Providence by EverPresent - a start-up organization that helps local families preserve and organize their photo and video collections digitally.
Giorgio is a longtime resident of West Warwick and previously served as a “Director of Fun”, Event Coordinator, and Assistant Brand Manager at the Hyatt Regency in Newport where she organized community fundraisers.
It was like a high-tech "Gift of the Magi." A few days before last Christmas, a couple came into EverPresent’s Newton office separately to create a Christmas present for each other. The husband was giving his wife a slideshow about her 40th birthday, and she was giving him a digitized version of a scrapbook he created for his family. They wanted to surprise each other on Christmas Eve.
To pick up the gift, they would come in a day or two before Christmas, and Jennifer Niloff, co-founder of the company, had to time it so they wouldn’t be in at the same time. It became a Christmas secret mission. Just one glitch: The man and woman each came in with their 9-year-old son.

Of roughly 46 employees, nearly 30 are stationed at the new Watertown production center located at 200 Dexter Ave., he said. The expansion to Watertown represents continued growth for EverPresent, and they continue to hire new employees every month, according to a press release for the company.
The EverPresent staff is divided into two teams: the clients who work directly with families in homes across New England, getting to know them and hearing their family stories, are stationed at the home office in Newton.
Just about all of us have boxes of old family photos or slides lying around. Over time, not only do the photos fade, but often we forget the stories behind the pictures. This is becoming even more of a concern in the digital age. Apparently, the great majority of photos shot never get downloaded from our phones or cameras.
