“EverPresent allows me to merge two passions — preserving history and driving innovation. My mission is to transform fragile, outdated media into lasting digital archives, ensuring accessibility for generations. True leadership in this field means respecting the past while building the technologies that carry it into the future.”

Erica Scoppettuolo brings more than 14 years of experience in film, video production, and digital preservation to her role as Senior Director at EverPresent. Today, she oversees a team of more than 80 professionals responsible for digitizing over 5 million feet of film, 100,000 video tapes, 20,000 audio recordings, and 4 million images every year. Under her leadership, EverPresent has become the nation’s premier provider of digitizing services across all media: video, audio, film, and images.

A graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a BFA in Film/Video Studies, Erica began her career as a commercial editor, cutting and mastering broadcast spots for brands such as Subway and Dunkin’ Donuts. She went on to work in television and feature film production for HBO, Disney, and NBC, contributing to projects including Olive Kitteridge (2014), The Finest Hours (2016), and Ghostbusters (2016). She became known for her tireless work ethic and precision in production preparation, shooting, and breakdown.

Erica joined EverPresent in 2016 as a video technician and quickly established herself as both a strategist and leader. Within a year she became A/V Department Manager, helping to build EverPresent during its early years. Today, as Senior Director, she oversees all media digitizing services — including video, audio, film, photo, and slides — and plays a key role in shaping the company’s continued growth as the nation’s premier digitizing service. Erica has led the integration of advanced technologies such as the FlashScan Nova (one of the first 8mm film digitizers of its kind in the U.S.), and the IBML Fusion scanner, enabling EverPresent to deliver unmatched speed, quality, and care in digitizing delicate formats for families and institutions nationwide.

Her leadership philosophy centers on building motivating, collaborative environments where teams are proud of their work and inspired to treat every client project with the same respect as a high-level production.

Outside of EverPresent, Erica is a passionate consumer and creator of media. She has a lifelong love of stories across genres — from documentaries to reality television — and brings that same appreciation for human expression to her painting, sewing, and hands-on creative projects. Erica values continual growth and strives to set an example of learning, improvement, and resilience for her children and her community.
