Vanessa Boucher
Senior Director
Systems, Operations & Technology
Vanessa has been part of the EverPresent team since 2013, blending her background in design with a passion for helping families preserve their stories. As Senior Director of Systems, Operations & Technology, she is known for making complicated projects simpler—whether that means guiding a family through the overwhelming process of turning boxes of recipes into a polished cookbook, or ensuring EverPresent’s behind-the-scenes systems run smoothly.
She is the creative force behind EverPresent’s cookbook series—featured in outlets like the Wall Street Journal and Yahoo Lifestyle—and continues to specialize in custom photo and recipe books, helping families transform their traditions and memories into meaningful keepsakes. Vanessa brings the same design sensibility and problem-solving approach to all of her work, recognizing that digitizing and design projects can feel daunting. By breaking them down into clear steps and thoughtful details, she helps clients see how rewarding the process can be.
Her career has always revolved around memory keeping. At CVS, she developed countless rolls of family film (if you’re from Cape Cod, she may have been the one who printed the very photos you’re now sending us to digitize). At Things Remembered, she helped families engrave their most cherished milestones onto keepsakes. Each of these roles deepened her respect for the way families carry their histories forward—and that respect continues to shape her work at EverPresent today.
At EverPresent, Vanessa also leads OPTIC—the internal team dedicated to Operations, Process, Technology, Innovation, and Compliance. Under her leadership, OPTIC has delivered hundreds of projects over the last three years, from major cost-saving initiatives to countless micro-innovations that streamline daily work. Whether rebuilding project management systems, automating estimate and invoicing workflows, or designing compliance protocols, Vanessa applies her creative problem-solving to operational challenges just as she does to client projects. OPTIC has become a driver of innovation at EverPresent, known for making bold ideas and small improvements alike a reality, always with the goal of improving both the client and employee experience.
Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys cooking, Lego building, and reading. She also has a knack for finding vintage treasures and admits to collecting more houseplants than she probably should.
"I love working at EverPresent because every day is a new adventure. We’re always finding new ways to honor our clients’ most treasured possessions, and it’s a privilege to know my work has helped preserve millions of memories."
