  • “I dropped of my old tapes in Lebanon, NH. In a few days, I received a call from a representative of EverPresent to discuss my needs. Even though it was during the busy holiday season, EverPresent returned my new videos on time and I was able to share some precious memories with my family at Christmas. I would highly recommend EverPresent.”

  • “September 1968 to April 1969. They remained in a box until I sent them to EverPresent. By then the recordings were over 50 years old. So many voices of people who have passed including my mother and father. I could make out the voices and they brought back so many wonderful memories. The process was so easy. The staff at EverPresent were very helpful. I urge anyone reading this to give serious consideration to using EverPresent. Thank you so much EverPresent.”

New Hampshire Home & Office Pickup Service

Safe, doorstep pickups with optional Zoom video prep sessions

These projects often have multiple moving parts, with media ranging from photo album scanning to slide conversion to VHS to digital, and many stories to tell. There can be heavy lifting involved. This is why many New Hampshire families choose our personalized doorstep pickups. Doorstep pickups are easily scheduled by clicking the button below. You will get a call before your appointment where you can let us know exactly where you left your project (doorstep, porch, etc) and we will safely pick it up. Everything is packed in weatherproof bins and barcoded before being taken to our state-of-the-art lab for processing.

You can now opt for a virtual prep session. One of our senior consultants will schedule a Zoom call with you to offer their expertise and to simplify the process of organizing and preparing for digitizing. Afterward, we will schedule a doorstep pickup to safely take the material to our lab and bring it back when the project is wrapped up.

The GRANITE STATE’s CONNECTIONS TO PHOTOGRAPHY AND CINEMA

The Old Man of the Mountain
The Old Man of the Mountain, which was located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, was first referenced in 1805. A prominent theory is the shape was formed due to the retreat of glaciers about 12,000 years ago. Thus, this formation was truly a wonderful display of nature.

Unfortunately, it collapsed on May 3, 2003. The corresponding picture shows the profile of the ‘face’ on the left, and what it looks like post-collapse on the right. Many were distraught by the loss; plenty of folks paid tribute to the site, while others push for memorials.

Seeing this in person was a phenomenal experience that cannot be replicated. There will be people that never got the chance to see the Old Man in person, which is a shame. Luckily, we have photographs of the landmark for folks to look upon fondly. The photos preserve this memory for us; otherwise, the image of the Old Man may have been permanently lost to time.

Ken Burns
Ken Burns, the Academy Award nominated and Emmy Award winning documentary filmmaker was raised in Walpole, New Hampshire. Burns is best known for his comprehensive documentary film series which include ‘The Civil War,’ ‘The Vietnam War,’ and ‘Country Music,’ to name a few.

James Wallace Black
James Wallace Black was born in New Hampshire in 1825. In 1860 he photographed Boston from a hot air balloon making him the first person in the country to take an aerial photography. Two years later the technique of hot air balloon photography would be used by the Union Army to spy on Confederate troops.

Tom Dey
Director, screenwriter, and producer Tom Dey was born in Hanover. His directorial credits include Shanghai Noon, Failure to Launch, and Marmaduke.

On Golden Pond (1981)
The Academy Award winning film ‘On Golden Pond’ starring Katharine Hepburn, Henry Fonda, and Jane Fonda was filmed at Squam lake in Holderness, New Hampshire.

Gary Samson
Award winning filmmaker and large format portraiture photographer Gary Samson (born 1951) grew up in Manchester. He began teaching at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 1981. He served as the chair of the photography department from 2001-2017. He was also named New Hampshire’s Artis Laureate in May 2017.

Jumanji (1995)
Jumanji, the original film based on the 1981 book by the same name, was filmed in Keene, New Hampshire. A notable scene in which a stampeding elephant demolishes a parked car was shot in the downtown area. Production included painting an actual mural for Parrish Shoes, the fictional shoe company depicted in the film, in the downtown area. Though the mural for the film was eventually taken down it was again restored years later as a memorial for Robin Williams after his death.
