With our photo scanning service, all photos are handled by white-gloved technicians. All photos are cleaned and dusted before scanning. All photos are scanned directly to a computer and optimized by trained, experienced technicians with backgrounds in fine art and photography. All photos are returned properly organized via DVD, USB or private website after your photo scanning project is complete, and our prices are incredibly competitive. Across all analog formats we use artificial intelligence as a support tool, not a substitute for human expertise. AI assists with stabilization, cleanup, and consistency, allowing our specialists to focus on judgment, quality control, and preservation decisions.
We don’t apply the same approach to every format, and we don’t automate simply for speed. Slides demand different care than VHS tapes; audio requires different judgment than film. Most of your photos are probably in color, which has been widely available for the average photographer since the 1960s, but you may have noticed the color starting to fade. This is very common and one of the reasons we optimize every photo we scan. We also offer unique photo organizing services. Your scans not only come back in their original order, but we can make them easy to search by date, topic and more. When you’re storing your photos, or preparing to digitize, it’s best to put them into archival, acid-free photo boxes or folders and avoid bending them when handling.
